THE SACRIFICE is a free adventure game from an indie developer who goes by MATHIAS_. It is a first-person horror experience featuring PS1-style graphics. It follows the story of a prisoner on the loose around a suburban neighborhood whose whereabouts are unknown to the authorities and those living there.
On the prowl
In THE SACRIFICE, you arrive at your house after a few days away to find out a prisoner has escaped from a nearby prison and is on the loose. The authorities have no clue as to where he might be but is confirmed to be prowling your neighborhood and is considered quite dangerous.
You are advised to stay indoors and exercise extreme caution when going out of the house to avoid any unforeseen contact with the suspect in question as there's no telling what he's capable of. Now, as mentioned earlier, this is a short game and you can expect to finish an entire playthrough in under 10 minutes.
Creepy and disturbing
